Volunteer with Us

Arts Together always welcomes volunteers!

Whether you're a high school student fulfilling community service hours or someone eager to give back, there are many ways to get involved. Volunteers support our work by helping with events, providing office assistance, or serving as teaching assistants in our classes.

We take the time to match each volunteer’s skills and interests with opportunities that make a real impact—ensuring a meaningful and rewarding experience for everyone.

Your time and energy help us continue offering transformative arts experiences to our community. We also collaborate with local high schools and public housing residents to help meet community service requirements.

Opportunities

  • If you have available hours on weekday afternoons or Saturday mornings, we would love to have you join us as a teaching assistant.

We aim to place a volunteer with each class of students under the age of nine, providing essential support to our instructors. Most classes last approximately an hour, though a few run for an hour and a half. We especially need volunteers for our art and dance classes, which run from September through May.

Your involvement helps create a positive and engaging learning environment for our young students, and we greatly appreciate your contribution to their creative journey.

  • Arts Together’s popular Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program, designed for ages 14-16, provides teenagers a valuable volunteer opportunity to develop leadership and communication skills, while remaining part of an exciting summer camp environment. Appropriate for both Arts Together alumni and fresh new faces, the CIT Program is perfect for teens who love the arts and working with children.

  • Help us grow our creative community by telling others about our unique, arts programming for all ages — classes, workshops, preschool, summer camps and more!
