Dwayne Billingsley

Mr Dwayne is well known for his genuinely warm and energetic personality! He has a calling to enrich the lives of children. Serving as a Multi Arts/Drama teacher at Arts Together since 1997, he has been teaching long enough to witness former preschool students grow up to become college students, doctors, and musicians. He had the pleasure of teaching children of local celebrities such as Hurricane’s present head coach Ron Brennenmore, meteorologist ElizabethGardener, amongst countless others.

In addition to being a teacher, Mr. Dwayne is the father to 5 children and a physical education coach to many more kids in the community. His love of teaching has inspired his two oldest children, Dominique and Amari, to become a 4th grade school teacher and a college student studying pre-med child psychology respectively. His goal is to introduce children of all backgrounds and abilities to the value of an arts education. Mr.Dwayne has found that drama is the perfect lens for teaching young minds problem solving skills, teamwork, self-discipline, perseverance, and social emotional learning. Drama class with Mr. Dwayne is a truly magical way for your little one to embrace self-expression, creativity, confidence, physical exercise, and communication. This teacher will empower your child to find their voice and shine both on and off the stage!
