Frankie Lee

Frankie Lee III grew up in Raleigh, NC & is the founder & Artistic Director of FLEE DANCE, a two-time Isadora Duncan Award nominee, Webby Award winner & the 2022 Artist of Excellence Prism Award winner. After receiving his BFA from the University of the North Carolina school of the Arts, Frankie continued training at Springboard Danse Montreal, The Merce Cunningham Trust, The Dance Company Experience, Shen Wei Dance Arts & Alonzo King LINES Dance Center.

He has danced for the Justice Theater Project, Zaccho Dance Theater, Oakland Ballet, dawsondancesf, Helen Simoneau Danse, Antonio Brown Dance, Gaspard and Dancers, Zest Collective, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, to name a few.

Under FLEE DANCE, Frankie has taught on faculty for the North Carolina Dance Institute, The Dallas Institute of Dance, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Mills College, Bay Area Ballet Conservatory, The Dallas Conservatory, California State University East Bay, University of California Berkley, Belhaven University, Friends University, Royale Ballet Dance Academy & Dramatic Truth Ballet School of the Arts to name a few.
